LOCTITE® SF 7458 is an amine-free, solvent-based surface activator for increasing the cure speed of LOCTITE® cyanoacrylate adhesives. It can be either pre- or post-applied to the bond but is especially good for post-application on instant adhesives to ensure rapid fixturing. It's typically used for applications where aesthetics and high cure speed are essential, such as cosmetic packaging, coloured plastics, jewellery and loudspeakers, where it provides good on-part life. It's colourless with very low viscosity and appears fluorescent under UV light.
